There are no risks in receiving the test results. This is a tool for you and your physician to determine your treatment path. Your physician will make the final decision as to which chemotherapy regimen you will receive. You’re not required to use the results of the test, but the test tells you which drugs work best for your cancer.

We gladly work with all payors, and our care specialists will bill your insurance company on your behalf. The ChemoID assay can be billed under the PLA code 0435U.

For most patients, we can have the results to your physician within 2-3 weeks after we receive your tumor sample.

With cancer, time is of the highest importance. In our experience, knowing the right chemotherapy from the very beginning is the best option. Please ask your surgeon to send your tumor sample to our lab at the time of your surgery. We can perform the test and provide the results to you and your physician to aid in the determination of the best chemotherapy drugs for you, even if your treatment is implemented at a later date.
