Order a ChemoID® Kit
Performing a ChemoID® assay requires these steps:
- Call 1-844-CHEMOID or 1-844-243-6643 to request a sample acquisition kit.
- Once the order is successfully processed, the physician or surgeon receives a kit for collecting and submitting tissue/fluid samples. Following the instructions provided, the physician collects the patient’s cells.
- The physician ships at room temperature the specimen to the ChemoID lab for processing within 24 hours of collection, using the packaging materials in the kit.
- A ChemoID Assay is performed on the patient’s cells, and the results are returned to the physician within 2-3 weeks.
Cost: We gladly work with all payors, and our care specialists will bill your insurance company on your behalf. The ChemoID assay can be billed under the PLA code 0435U.
When Your ChemoID Kit Arrives:
Your kit includes everything needed for the proper collection and shipment of tissue/fluid samples. When you open the ChemoID kit, make sure to keep the entire contents for return shipment.
